You're Too Old Not To Dance
"I am reminded of the words of Jesus to the disciples of John the Baptist when he said, "Go back and report to John what you hear and see: the blind recieve sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor."
It is fitting to say with the Psalmist, "God has done great things for us, whereof we are glad" and even those who are not believers have to say of this event, "God has done great things for them, and we are glad"
We as a people refuse to take any glory for what has happened at this location; yet we thank so many of you. We still say with David who built the remple, "O Lord our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee a house for thine holy name cometh of thine hand is all thine own."
May this place be a monument to the sovereign God who reigns in grace and mercy to poor sinners. May the name that is above every name and the name that shall endure forever be the subject and matter of this pulpit."
